Originally founded as the World’s Biggest Garage Sale (WBGS) in 2013, Circonomy is driven to empower every Australian with access to high quality products at a great price. By offering a wide range of premium, affordable products across a variety of categories, including office furniture, renewed technology, and home furniture, we’re making it easier for you to embrace sustainability in your everyday life.

Our purpose
To create a world where nothing goes to waste, including human potential, by refurbishing, repairing, repurposing, reselling and recycling dormant goods and through creating employment opportunities for neuro-diverse people.
Circonomy takes still-useful things that are lying dormant or are destined for landfill and work diligently with our team and partners to give them the opportunity to have a second (or third) lease on life. We do this through partnerships with leading retailers and manufacturers to get you access to high quality goods.
Meet Our Founder
Every business has a beginning, and ours began ten years ago when Yas Grigaliunas, along with 50 passionate volunteers, hosted the inaugural World’s Biggest Garage Sale event, raising an impressive $15,000 for Smiling for Smiddy charity in just one day. This set the stage for annual events aimed at repurposing dormant goods and supporting charitable causes.
In 2015, our customers' curiosity sparked a new mission: "Could you do this all the time?" So, in 2017, WBGS officially became a company, and with leading partners such as News Corp supporting our mission, resulted in our biggest event at the time raising a whopping $150K in a day! Recognising that the World’s Biggest Garage Sale would never be big enough, in 2018, Yas took the first steps towards launching Circonomy, aiming for larger-scale impact. Supported with increased investment, Circonomy officially launched in September 2022, with national expansion following shortly after.
